Great location. Shame only 2 restaurants were open in the village out of season. However one was brilliant. Had to pay extra for bedding despite the advert being a chalet for 4, and only 2 of us. It’s a nice spot, but a few scruffy bits inside.

Loved Wengen. Train was convenient. Gondola above town was awesome! We used it 2 days for hiking and shopping.

The place is clean and charming, but the bed is very small (it is not actually a queen as the listing suggests) and it is further from town than 3 minutes we were told. Overall it was a decent stay, but not the best value compared to the hotels in town. I would opt for a hotel next time with a reliable bed, you cannot sleep 2 comfortably in this bed so one of us had to sleep on the couch.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Grathoren – Waldbort apartment in Wengen. The apartment was attractive, comfortable, clean, efficient and everything we needed was provided. It is also in a great location for easy walking to the center, train station and supermarket. Rachel and Alpine Holiday Services were very responsive, communicative and an excellent host. The information they provided prior to us arriving to Wengen was very impressive and helpful. We highly recommend this Airbnb accommodation to those visiting Lauterbrunnen and Wengen.

Beautiful location, beautiful village, beautiful atmosphere. Quaint and beautiful, slow-paced living with ways to adventure or just recover.
