The house is perfect with the outdoor space and the garden. The living room Has enough space to relax with the whole family. Everything was well equipped. We booked the house a few hours before arrival and Isabella has done everything to prepare the house and make us feel welcome.

Isabella’s place is like an Oasis of peace and tranquillity, paired with exceptional hospitality and friendliness. Isabella and her husband arranged fresh olive oil and wine from their own harvest for us; what a treat! Giacomo was always easy to contact by phone, although we hardly need to contact him, as everything was perfectly arranged already. Surroundings are amazing and inviting for a walk through the forest. You get the cleanest and freshest air you can imagine. Lucca with its historical walls and fabulous restaurants and entertainment is just 15min away by car. Before we arrived we had hoped the house (iL Vino) some way lived up to the reviews. There is always that level of doubt that it is not quite as nice as the photos and reviews. All I can say is ‘wow’. What a fantastic house in a location which my daughter described as ‘a little piece of heaven’. Absolutely stunning house and location. Giacomo looked after us promptly and very well with regard to our queries and recommendations re restaurants etc etc. I would have no doubts in recommending iL Vivo. We hope to return to this little piece of heaven in the not so distant future.

We loved our stay at Isabella’s place. It more than met the needs of our family of 5. Wonderful location — beautiful and peaceful, but easy to get to Lucca and nearby smaller towns. The beds and bedrooms were extremely comfortable. The ceiling fans were effective as was the breeze — we never wished for air conditioning at all. My kids made great use of the pool, and the view from the pool and the house is beautiful. Isabella is a gracious and generous host, and Giacomo was always available should we have a question or a need. We had a wonderful stay, and it was hard to leave.

We had two wonderful weeks at Isabella‘s house. The house is exactly as described and shown in the pictures and it was very clean. The kitchen is well equipped and the rooms & bathrooms have enough space to comfortably store clothes and toiletries. The ceiling fans were a nice extra, since it was quite hot (however the house stays relatively cool despite the heat). Isabella and Giacomo were very pleasant hosts and were always quick to respond if we had any questions. Isabella even brought us some fresh vegetables from her garden and there were some groceries for our first breakfast which was a nice touch! All in all we enjoyed our stay very much and can recommend Il Villino.
