自我介绍

I am a creative person and love being outdoors! I enjoy swimming in the sea and in the Lido (heated open-air swimming pool) in Teignmouth. I lead an exercise group for friends three times a week on the sea wall - a fusion of yoga, pilates and cardio! Rich (my husband) and I also enjoy walking, cycling and kayaking. I have been in education for 35 years, as a teacher, Headteacher and Forest School practitioner. I love interior styling as a hobby and have really enjoyed creating a home to share with others. Rich spent over 35 years as a builder/carpenter and completely renovated our house. He has also worked as a delivery driver for Riverford Organic Farm, delivering vegetable boxes around the south Devon coast. He enjoys painting landscapes and sea- scapes and has had water-colour classes with a very well-known local artist called John Skinner Rich and I have been married for over thirty five years and are now enjoying a life of semi- retirement! We have two grown up children - our daughter (a keep fit instructor) lives in Australia and has a little girl - our first grandchild. We finally met her when we were allowed to fly to Australia after the lockdown - she was 17 months old by then! Our son is a jockey and moved from the Uk to New Zealand and then on to Australia to further his career as a flat race jockey as well as a jumps jockey. We travel each year to see our children in Australia and have had great AirBnB experiences in Australia and New Zealand, as well as closer to home in Portugal, Spain and the UK. We also love camping in our van and have ventured as far a field as Scotland in it. Our favourite holiday destination in the UK is Pembrokeshire, in Wales. Living in Teignmouth gives us the best of both worlds - the incredible coast and the beautiful Devon countryside, with Dartmoor on our doorstep. There is just so much to explore and we are still finding new places to visit, even though we live here! Free
