L’accueil d’Isabelle et Jean est chaleureux, on se sent tout de suite chez soi. J’ai aimé leur convivialité et l’attention portée à mes particularités diététiques. On tombe tout de suite sous le charme de la maison, ancienne et préservée dans l’esprit de la région ce qui lui donne énormément de caractère.

Isabelle's place was absolutely wonderful! She was very helpful with local recommendations. We loved the old charm feel of the house. The little touches, such as the robes in the bedroom, made the stay extra special. We loved sitting on the porch swing made by Isabelle's husband. The breakfast was delicious and was amazing waking up to a meal made with love.

This BnB was such a lucky find late in the day for my first night's stop en route from Peterborough, ON to Halifax NS. Isabelle and her husband were very friendly and relaxed, and made me feel right at home while also giving me plenty of privacy. She did not have other guests that night and put me in her "favourite" room, with its own private washroom, as well as adjacent to the bathroom in the hall. (She also offered the downstairs bathroom which had a large shower, but I didn't try it.) Beautiful bedding, extremely comfortable mattress and pillows, soft bathrobes provided. Quiet. Lamps on both sides of the bed, and around the room (so often forgotten in BnBs!). Outlets with power bars on both sides of the bed. Lovely little stack of quebecois poetry and fiction in the room, and charming guest toiletries. So cosy! Parking behind the building that felt secure. And the best breakfast of my trip!! Flexible timing, and SO delicious and bountiful!

I did many airbnb. In canada and in other countries. There is a warmth like you rarely see…. You taht feeling of being home. And the host and the house and the ancestral house. Wooooow
