We had a lovely few days at Chew Magna. The property has everything you need whether it's sunny or on a rainy day and it's is also very well equipped. The view from the property is beautiful even on a rainy day. The games room is great for kids and family fun. The living room spaces are great for relaxing and the kitchen is also amazing. The bedrooms were very spacious and beds were comfortable. James was a great host and responded very quickly to any queries we had. We hope to return again one day in the future and thoroughly recommend for any families to visit.

Had a great weekend for NYE, lovely house, peaceful location with amazing country side views. Well equipped house for its size, great spacious kitchen and dining room. Also very comfortable beds. The only couple of negative’s we have (party of 12) is the house seems to be used as a family home as well, so no access to wardrobes apart from one bedroom. We were a little disappointed in the cleanliness of the house and its general up keep. Although this is a beautiful character property and obviously some of this is to be expected. James was a very good host and responded to any questions or issues promptly.

We had an amazing stay at James's home over the Christmas holidays. The home was better than we could have hoped to accommodate our large group. Surrounded by fields with views of the lake in the distance it was truly an idyllic place to spend Christmas. As a host James was very responsive whenever we encountered issues/had questions within the house. This house is perfect for families with plenty of activities for the kids on the grounds from trampolining and playing football in the garden, to spending hours in the games room on the pool and football tables. We would highly recommend if you are looking for a home away from home in the countryside.

James' beautiful home was absolutely perfect for a family gathering- homely, spacious, well equipped and with beautiful views - we all loved it. Easily accessible too despite feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere. Decorated for Christmas too! Would definitely go back and recommend to others.
