This is a beautiful house on 2 wooded acres with landscaping that made us feel like we were in an enchanted forest. We enjoyed spending time in the sunroom. There's a lovely patio (bring repellant for the mosquitoes). The house is not luxurious (the bathrooms have a strange layout and the showers are a bit cramped) but it's very comfortable. This was a lovely base for enjoying the Berkshires. Note that if you're not renting for a full month, you might not have access to the whole house. Clarify with host when booking.

This was a week-long vacation for me and my spouse. We enjoy the Berkshires for the cultural venues, the pastoral environment and the restaurants. Thea’s place is superb. She was friendly but never intrusive. We had use of the spacious rooms on the first floor and a private sun porch and outdoor deck right off our bedroom. We enjoyed the large shared kitchen where we prepared a lot of our meals. Ideal for a peaceful, quiet, private stay close driving to Tanglewood and hiking. Ideal for some with mobility issues that do best with first-floor living. Thea applies her own experience as a traveler to creating a comfortable experience for her Air &B guests. We had just the right balance of connecting with her in great conversation and alone time. I’m an avid walker, and I often used Thea’s recommendations for good walking trails nearby. Her flower gardens are also beautiful. I highly recommend for a brief or a longer stay.
