Vi har haft to dejlige døgn i Dionysus. Værterne er meget venlige. Maden i tavernaen er gid, vi spiste alle måltider der. Værelset er lidt basic, men absolut godt til prisen. Ikke så meget varmt vand, men til gengæld en fantastisk udsigt over bjergene, når du vågner. Vi kan finde på at vende tilbage på et andet tidspunkt på året.

Dyonisos airbnb comes with 6 rooms on top the restaurant that offers the freshest of local produce from the self owned gardens. Galathea is the heart of the establishment and she was up at midnight waiting for my delayed arrival. It felt like coming home. She is also the cook and serves very well prepared meals from morning to evening. I have tasted the best cretan fries made with the best potatoes from Lasithi plateau fried in olive oil, local tomatoes suculent and full of taste, local olives from the mountains nearby that are by far the best i ever tasted. Galathea also made me feel at home catering my every wish with plates made to my taste and surprise deserts. Again, the watermelon and honey melon like those I tasted from her own garden were most delicious and refreshing. We have spent a wonderful day on the Lassithi plateau. Konstantinos and his family are very warm people. And the tavern is very authentic. Visiting the cave of Zeus gives one of the best view you can have of Crete. The welcome we had was very hearthful and the stay felt like we were at our grandparents. The food prepared for us was very good and we had the best tzatziki ever ! Do not hesitate to visit them !
