Christy's recommendations were great. hapuna beach was amazing, the farmers market was great, and punalu'u was gorgeous. The infant cribs were a bit dated/stiff so our child coslept with us. we had a 2.5 year old and a 9 month old, the 9mo old had a hard time crawling on the tiles, but the 2.5 yo had a great time playing with squirter guns and the fountain. the garbage situation could be better but I understand the constraints. You may need to take a garbage run if you stay with a large group for multiple days. Beautiful sunsets from the 2nd level porch.

Christy's beautiful home was a wonderful fit for our group of 6 adults and 4 kids (8-11 yo). The size and open layout of the common space made it easy for us all to be together when prepping/eating meals, while the separated bedrooms gave everyone privacy. Everyone enjoyed the courtyard, surrounding gardens, and breathtaking view of the ocean from the balcony of the upstairs suite. The house was well-stocked with supplies in the kitchen and for the beach. Location was ideal for many activities on the Kona side of the island and for stocking up on groceries. The only minor downside was the odor in the common space that persisted throughout our stay. However, it didn't bother us enough to bring it to Christy's attention. Overall, we loved our stay in the house, would consider staying here again, and would definitely recommend it to others.

Wonderful place to stay! Plenty of room for our gang - we brought all 7 of our kids, two spouses/finance and 2 grandbabies and we had plenty of room. The kitchen is very well stocked for being able to cook and do meals in, which we did a lot of. Close to Walmart and Safeway for shopping, and not far from Kona Square. We enjoyed having this as our home base for exploring beaches up and down the Kona coast. Christy had lots of good suggestions of place to see while we were there too.

This was literally a home-away-from-home for my family! Accommodated all 11 of us (kids included) comfortably. The place was surrounded with the privacy of nature while still being close to the markets of Kona. Christy was a kind and super responsive host, even with the big time difference. My family will definitely stay again without hesitation if given the chance. All-in-all 10/10 would recommend!
