We really enjoyed our stay at The Cow Shed! Was so peaceful and relaxing. The lodge had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Beautiful farm surroundings in a good location close to a Co-Op, pubs, The Railway Inn Pub was amazing for food! Peppa Pig world was a half hour drive away and Marwell Zoo 15 minutes drive. So perfect spot for days out. We stayed with our 2 year old who enjoyed watching the cows and sheep and use of the trampoline and play area which is very kind of the hosts to let us use. Fresh eggs available daily. Alex and her family are lovely. The lodge was clean and tidy, spacious with a bed setee to suit a family of 4. Toys for kids. Essentials in the kitchen and bathroom. Everything was perfect and we would love to return again in the future! Thanks so much ❤️

The Cow Shed was perfectly placed for our weekend away. It has been very well designed and it’s great looking out on the cows grazing in the field. The bed is very comfortable and our first night’s sleep very peaceful. Unfortunately on the second day a family with a very energetic toddler moved into the apartment above and seemed to enjoy running and jumping around from 7am onwards!
A great home from home, teen son was particularly impressed with the swivel tv. Everything you need in the kitchen including oil, tea, coffee etc. Lovely bathroom. Good base to explore the surrounding areas, Portsmouth and Southampton. Nice that you don’t have to worry about bringing towels and hairdryer etc so can pack light.
Alexandra was very helpful with the booking and responded when we had any questions. My two children loved the location and the view of the cows in the field and have already asked when they can come back.
