旧奥斯陆 · 出租单元里的独立房间 · 1室1床1.0卫 · 可住2人 · Bedroom central and cosy Botanical Gardens
This is a room in a modern 3 bedroom apartment from 2008. The apartment is centrally located yet quiet as it's in a dead end street. From the apartment you can walk to most points of interest in Oslo, but it has also easy public transport access nearby. The apartment is shared with the hosts family, and possibly other guests. The room fits well for solo travelers and couples. In the bedroom there is two single beds that are placed next to each other which equals a double bed. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor and with elevator access. The apartment has 3 bedrooms in total and the other two rooms are occupied. There is a raise/lower desk with comfortable work chairs in the living room. The kitchen and living room is connected in an open solution with access out to your own private and spacious balcony overlooking the backyard area. There is only one bathroom and shower in the apartment, but it also has a washing machine that guests are free to use. There is high-speed internet included, as well as an Apple TV with access to streaming services like HBO Max, Disney +, etc. This place is good for travellers because of its combination of secluded and central + located in a very child-friendly environment as there is a football-pitch, volleyball-fields, table tennis and basketball-court in immediate proximity. Please beware: there are some permanent black marks in the parquet floor from previous tenants. Unfortunately they can’t be removed. We hope it doesn’t affect your overall impression of the apartment and it’s cleanliness.
Christian is a wonderful host. I got clear communication and quick responses about how to get to the flat. We were able to have some wonderful conversations and it felt like my extra vacation in Oslo wasn't a solo trip but one with new close friends. Highly recommend checking out the space and enjoying the vibe! Thanks again for hosting dude!
We had a really nice stay! Christian was very flexible with the check-in and the apartment was clean and had everything you need. We will definitely recommend it to anyone who comes to visit Oslo!
Wonderful room in a quiet neighborhood but still easy tog eat to all the places we wanted to visit. Very friendly and responsive hosts
This neighborhood is a blend of hip and classic, practically situated between the Classical Botanical Gardens and The Munch Museum, Hip Grunerløkka and modern Bjørvika. All of Oslo Centrum attractions are max 10 min away. The street is a secluded one way street with virtually no traffic, and the furnished balcony with the quiet backyard is good for relaxing.
You will have immediate access to the cafees, small, cosy shops at Grünerløkka, local bars and breweries in "Torggata".
Oslos popular parks like "Sofienberg Park", "Olaf Ryes Plass" and "Birkelunden" is close by for warm summer/autumn days.
A stone’s throw away you will find the Oslo river "Akerselva", which has almost unlimited tour/training and recreation opportunities, whether you prefer kayaking at "Sørenga", or follow the river path to the forests of "Maridalen".
Tøyen Park is close by, and "Botanical Gardens and Natural History Museum" is very close, like a neighbour.
Popular bars close by are “Torggata Botaniske", "Kulturhuset", "Himkok", "Blå", "Ingensteds" and karaokebar "Syng" are all 5-10 min walk away.
Oslo offers convenient public transportation, and short distances makes it easy to get around by walking or biking.
All the public transport in Oslo is part of the same ticket and price system, operated by Ruter. Ruter's tickets are valid for buses, trams, subways, ferries (not the Bygdøy ferry) and local trains.
Tram and bus tickets costs 40 kroners (only valid for 1 hour – 24 hours tickets costs 121 kr) and can be bought at kiosks like 7-Eleven, Narvesen, Deli De Luca or on the RUTER ticket app on your phone.
PS: it’s NOT possible to buy tickets directly on the bus or tram. For the metro (called T-bane marked with a “T” and a circle around) you can buy tickets from the ticket machine on the station.
Oslo City Bike rental
Oslo is perfect to explore with a city bike! You would need to download the “Oslo Bysykkel” app in able to rent the bikes. It costs about 69kr (7 USD) for a day pass. A bike city bike stand is just right outside.
Electric scooters
Electric scooters are also a very popular transportation alternative and also a nice way to see the city, if the weather allows it. There are several different companies in operation and they all need a seperate app.
