Insgesamt haben wir unseren Aufenthalt bei Maria genossen. Die abgeschiedene Lage hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es war sehr schön im Whirlpool zu entspannen oder auch gemeinsam vor dem Kamin zu sitzen. Es gab ein paar Sachen die nicht so gepasst haben: der Pool war leider nicht beheizt (19 Grad), zudem machte der Pool teils sehr laute Geräusche sodass man sich am Pool nicht aufhalten wollte. Wir hatten uns explizit aus diesem Grund hierfür entschieden. In einem Haus hatten wir leider laufend mit Stromproblemen zu kämpfen, es war nicht möglich zwei Küchen gleichzeitig zu betreiben. Ein Teil der Matratzen sind leider in die Jahre gekommen und durchgelegen, die sollten ausgetauscht werden. Ebenso einige Toilettensitze und -Bürsten, die sind schon verfärbt. Gut war die Kommunikation mit Maria, wir hätten uns jedoch weniger unangekündigte Kontrollbesuche erwünscht.

Weekend trascorso in compagnia tra amici: atmosfera rilassante, completamenti immersi nella natura e con tutti i comfort a nostra disposizione. Unica nota negativa: i giorni a nostra disposizione… troppo pochi! Speriamo di poterci ritornare prossimamente. Un ringraziamento a Maria Luisa, che non abbiamo avuto il piacere di conoscere di persona, ma che ci ha comunque prontamente assistito. Ed anche a Livio che ci h accolto gentilmente al momento del check in!

Villa Miralaghi has left a permanent imprint on our hearts. In the midst of a very hectic 3 weeks in Italy, we had the privilege and honor of regrouping in this remote, long ago hunting lodge. The serenity, history and pride that has kept this property pristine allows one to enjoy the past with modern day amenities. The outdoor pool during the day, and at night we enjoyed the Billiard table, cooking our evening meal, and playing family games. While there, we never even bothered to turn on the TV or other electronic entertainment that was available. Our stay was only 4 nights, had we been there longer we would have taken advantage of the hiking trails. Also, with July 2023 going down in the record books as one of the hottest in Italy; we were kept VERY comfortable by the wall air conditioning unit as well as the two portable AC units Maria Louisa went into town to purchase for our comfort. We were looking for a full , authentic Tuscan Estate experience, and we fell in love with it all!

I like people who come to visit my property because I like to share it: it is a unique place. The air is clean, full of good energy, the silence is broken by the the gentle breeze and birdsong. I live in another house in the estate where I like to invite my guests for a drink. Miralaghi is a perfect place where to live and work because it is beautiful, near Rome and Florence in un area full of theathers, events, festivals, music, concerts, parade, cinemas. So after my work I can do something that generally you find in the big cities as a fantastic exibition in Florence or Rome, or festival in Perouse or theather in Città della Pieve or Montepulciano, to be ready to give you the best 'adress' at your arrival.But sometime I prefer to look at the stars with my sons. Or sometime I go to do a horse-ride with a magnificent Arab horse inside the magnificent property where I never time to go.
