We had a great stay overall however a few details have stuck with us, the listing is slightly misleading and doesn't mention the other cabins so close and within full view of the private space. We reached out asking for the possibility of more cover for in front of the hot tub as felt slightly uncomfortable being so visible, our request was ignored and we were told nobody else has had a problem with it so we felt very dismissed. Not what we expected from a superhost. Also the fact we had to pay for firewood to use the hot tub after the first night was a big disappointment as that was extra money we weren't expecting to have to spend to use the facilities we've booked and paid for. The kitchen is lacking basic utensils and desperately needs maintenance, the counter top is rotting and feels very soft where the hob is barely fitted. Also the cobwebs and bugs found everywhere wasn't great, never a shock but didn't expect so many ants inside. Still managed to have a good time.

As we pulled onto the road to get to the cabin, we found triangle markers indicating where we needed to go. Upon arrival, we headed down to the cabin with our code to get in and the whole process was so easy. Kenton met us down at the cabin and was super friendly and helpful asking if we needed anything. We found a list inside with things to do and places to eat in the area and a box with helpful books and guides in. The cabin itself was beautiful and cozy and we loved that hot water bottles and a mini heater was provided along with drinks and a few essentials like milk. The firepit and hot tub helped make it a romantic weekend getaway for couples who wanted a quiet breakaway. The area was peaceful with stunning views and we loved every minute. The main town is a 10-15 minute walk away and Kenton was super helpful with instructions how to get there and they are given in the cabin too. Overall our stay was super enjoyable and we couldn't have been happier. Thanks for such a lovely time!

The cabin is simply furnished, but has everything you need to have a wonderful glamping style break. If you are tall the shower and bed may feel a touch tight. It is set in a beautiful large garden, with a lovely deck looking onto the hills. A fab log burner hot tub, well worth the effort. The area is beautiful and has an easy walk into the local town which has great coffee shops and a variety of places to eat. everyone is incredibly friendly. There are lovely local sites to visit all within 10-15 minutes drive. The hosts are welcoming, friendly and very helpful. We really enjoyed switching off and having a quiet breakaway to rest and relax.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality&made to feel right at home in their stunning residence.The cabin itself is simply beautiful,cosy&immaculately clean. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the previous reviews regarding the bed not being comfortable were unfounded -I slept like a baby throughout the night.Unfortunately, the weather was quite cold, which meant that we were unable to use the hot tub during our stay as it took awhile for the water to heat up to a reasonable warm ish temp.Upon arrival Kenton had warned us would take several hours to heat up&We appreciated his honesty and transparency in sharing this information with us before our arrival, so we were prepared. Louise&Kenton went above&beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable and memorable. They were readily available to answer any questions we had&offered helpful suggestions on places to go for our walks. We look forward to visit again in the summer. Thankyou both x
