All in all our stay ended up being okay, not great but we used it as a base and we’re rarely there so that didn’t matter. The real issues we had were with the lack of communication. A company handles the Airbnb booking so you aren’t in contact with the host. The company told me I had to arrange entry with the host. She was completely unresponsive till a couple days before arrival, she wasn’t accommodating for when we would be arriving and said she was unavailable. She did end up leaving the keys for us in the mailbox after I said I wasn’t very happy about waiting hours for her to be available to give me the keys. She asks for a deposit, even though it is against Airbnb policy. To get the money she turned up with a 5 minute warning and then she returned the deposit letting herself into the apartment when we weren’t there and with no message prior letting me know that was her plan. All in all, fine base but wouldn’t book again. The worst reception I’ve had from a host on Airbnb.

this apartment is truly fantastic the views are stunning sitting on the balcony having breakfast all i can say is wow. the beds are comfortable and clean the kitchen is well equipped although we never cooked the shower is good washing machine works the walk from the station to the apartment is all uphill maybe consider a taxi,it is a 20 minute walk to the station down hill. the check in was easy, although you pay a deposit no problems getting it refunded just let them know when your leaving we highly recommend this apartment in montreux if we were to go back we would definitely stay here thank you for letting us stay here Jim and kirsty

Bel appartement, conforme à notre attente et bien situé pour accéder au centre, avec les commerces à proximité. Montreux mérite le déplacement, avec pour nous la chance d’y être pour le superbe marché de Noël. Nous recommandons cet appartement
