Book! This! Spot! Tim and Jill's place is the platonic ideal of a summer cabin. It has exactly what you need to have a fun, relaxing vacation (BBQ, fire pit, well-stoked kitchen, etc.), but isn't too precious about it, so you immediately feel at home and at ease. You can tell they've been thoughtfully composing it all for decades, making it feel like the type of place you'd only have access to within a tight-knit family. They was a delight to chat with and incredibly kind. We spent the weekend BBQing, reading on the outdoor and enclosed patios, cooling off in the creek, and watching the lightning bugs at night. Heaven! And yes, it is seriously dog paradise. Our high-energy pup, Maggie, had the time of her life! The best part: We could let her roam without worrying that she'd wander too far, thanks to the natural "moat" that's formed between the creek and pond. She slept for three days straight once we got home. We can't wait to come back. Thank you, Tim and Jill!

We visited the location around May when warm afternoons were followed by chilly evenings. The location is truly magical at all hours of the day, but I especially enjoyed the quiet evenings by the fireplace or star gazing on the porch. Tim and his wife were wonderful hosts! They were very responsive to our questions, proactive and just overall very warm and wonderful folks. We will definitely be visiting again.

We were so happy to get back to this gem in the country. The cabin and property are even better than it looks in the listing and Roxbury is a really nice area. The cabin is so beautiful, quiet and relaxing! The cabin has everything you need from dishes, coffee, games, shampoo, blow-dryer and even a dog bed! You really don't have to bring anything besides your food and drink. Our puppy had a ball playing on the huge property and exploring the streams, ponds and bridges. None of us wanted to leave and we can't wait to get back next year. Thank you so much Tim & Jill!

Highly recommend this cabin. The grounds were beautiful and the accommodations were impeccable. Perfect location for us too. We plan to come back again to enjoy the serenity.

Our stay at Tim and Jill’s cabin was like no other. From the moment we walked in, we were comforted by its warmth and charm. Our dog ran around for hours and hours. He absolutely loved it. We were blessed with great weather and got to see some of the most beautiful fall foliage we have ever seen. The grounds are breathtaking and there is so much to do. Inside the extremely clean cabin, there was everything you could possibly think of needing. Some nights we enjoyed staying in, sitting on the porch and taking in the scenery. If you are looking for a quick get away, this cabin is perfect! It’s close enough to town but secluded enough to really be able to relax. We will definitely be back!
