We had 5 days to explore Deal and the surrounding countryside. The cottage was very central to everything you would want, sea walks, pubs, tea rooms and the station was close by for trips to Ramsgate and Broadstairs. The interior of the cottage was very comfortable and the small patio area private, and pretty for a cup of tea in the morning of a drink in the evening. Everything in the cottage was well chosen, kitchen well equipped and dishwasher very welcome. The bathroom was very well presented and the shower very invigorating. The beds very comfortable and the linen clean and fresh . You need strong knees to negotiate the stairs, the rope handles come in very handy! We immediately felt at home when we arrived and loved every minute of our stay. Thankyou.

Had a wonderful stay in Deal. The cottage was close to the sea, close to the shops and restaurants but also in a quiet area. The cottage had lots of character and was a great base for us for the week. Parking was simple. We dropped everything off (there is very little traffic) and parked a couple of minutes walk away. Thoroughly recommend this cottage.

Fantastic stay in this great cottage. Perfectly placed yards from the sea and great local pub. Cottage was well equipped and had everything we needed for a great stay. We will definitely be back.

We stayed in the cottage for five days over Easter and it was very cosy and perfectly situated close to the beach and Deal town centre. It was also well equipped and it was great that the cottage accepted dogs. The only negatives for us were the low beams and ceiling (especially in the top bedroom) and the very steep stairs but the ropes help. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the house as it was in such a good location and it is nice to stay in such an old historical building with so much character.
