On the day of arrival, Phalla wrote that he had already booked his place outside of Airbnb and had forgotten to update the availability, so that the room was not available. He asked me to cancel, meaning I would lose my money. I insisted that he should be the one canceling, so that I get a refund. He kept dodging. I wasted hours dealing with him to end up stranded and frustrated. He has never officially canceled the booking. After wasting my only day in Siem Reap dealing with this leech, now I'll waste more time dealing with Airbnb to sort this mess out. This is the kind of bad experience that makes Airbnb the nightmare it has become. Never again.
