We had an amazing week at Kanani's place. It's location on the east side is central to anywhere on the island. We slept to the sound of ocean waves and woke up to amazing sunrises. The beach is 30 seconds from the lanai. There is no central air conditioning, but none was needed as there were numerous fans throughout. Once the doors and windows were open there is good airflow throughout. It is a corner unit and there is a lot of privacy. Directly out the lanai, there is a huge green expanse of green lawn with lots of chickens, roosters, doves, and assorted birds. There is a well fed and cared for feral cat colony near and we had some very sweet kitties hang out with us. We enjoyed our stay here. Thank you to our host!
The location and view can’t be beat! Loved the lanai and the fully stocked kitchen. Great communication from the host. There is a lovely path in front of the unit and even a small beach! The sunrises each morning were breathtaking.I inquired about a portable air conditioner (it was 90+ degrees inside each day with no breeze), but unfortunately none could be provided. I wouldn’t recommend this unit if you are sensitive to heat in the off chance you hit a spell with no wind like we did for 10 days. Other than that, it was everything we could’ve hoped for!
Aloha We enjoyed the apartment They provided most of the amenities we need, including beach towels and chairs. Was bit fart from restaurants ( meaning- can’t walk to them) but a short drive. In general, a wonderful place right in front of the ocean to stay. Mahalo
This was a beautiful place to stay with a short walk to a kids playground and great snorkeling for adults and kiddos! The kids loved the pool every day which was always clean. The sunrises each morning were so special to us! I will say the house says it’s kid friendly but had a low cupboard full of paint and toxic household supplies right at kid level which was easy for our kids to get into. Overall the space was beautiful and most of all a great location, I will say the loud roosters do interrupt your sleep every night and it does get hot even with the provided fans.
Beautiful condo in a great location! The inside was super comfortable and very well equipped with everything you need for cooking, swimming, pool days, beach days, and movie nights. We loved being on the ground level where we had fantastic ocean views, and could let our toddler run around in the grass. She loved the swimming pool, a fantastic beach for kids (Lydgate) is a 5 minute walk on a bike path, and a very quick (still possible to walk) drive to Kapaa for some shopping and dining. Great experience!
