This cabin was a wonderful escape from the city. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. The stars were amazing to view on the clear evening from the porch. The cabin itself is well equipped for function and fun. We enjoyed the deck overlooking the pond. Our daughter enjoyed the paddleboat. If we are ever in the area again we will diffidently look to stay here again. Easy 40 minute drive from Maryville.

Sue and Pat were very gracious hosts! Their lake house is a little slice of heaven where the sounds of nature replaced the sounds of the city I normally live in. We laughed when a mat of cattails drifted into the lake with a red-eared slider atop, finding himself the new captain of a small ship on the lake. We wandered the wooded area on the property and talked about the understory plants and trees there; saw 17 species of bird around the house. We slept well and caught up while sipping coffee and looking out onto the lake in the morning. It was a wonderful weekend. Thanks Sue and Pat for welcoming us. We will be back :)

Sue's cabin is wonderful. It is right on the lake with plenty of nearby wildlife (saw deer next to the cabin the first day we arrived). The kitchen, living space, and bathroom are easily accessible on the first floor. The queen bed and bunk beds are upstairs in a shared room that is very comfortable. Laundry is in the basement. This was a wonderful stay, I highly recommend Sue's beautiful cabin to anyone looking for a quiet getaway with a beautiful balcony view. A+ all around.
