Beautiful and secluded bungalow. Breathtaking view and amazing plant and animal life all around. Getting to Hana is quite the drive but staying here made it well worth the trip. Fantastic place to just take it easy and relax.

It's truly hard to put into words what magic Shelly's Bungalow holds. You need to experience this yourself. We almost chickened out after reading about the Road to Hana, but we are so grateful that we didn't. Hamoa Bay Bungalow is the peace and quiet we needed. Grab a coffee from Da Mean Bean and return to your lanai in the monring. Draw a warm bath on the lanai at sunset with a glass of wine and just soak, listening to the bird songs and the clack of the bamboo in the wind; the sound of the ocean roaring. Let night fall on you and feel the stillness. We didn't need any entertainment, no phones, no tv, nothing. Just the quiet and the beauty. The landscaping is like a storybook. The furnishings are perfect and thoughtful, not overdone. The bungalow is stocked with all the basic things you could need. Finding it was pretty easy -- Shelly sends detailed instructions. And Hana is an incredible place to explore. We will return. Mahalo. <3

Homoa cottage had a bit of a Thomas Crown affair vibe. Nestled in between 2 beaches past the town of Hana 2-3 miles on Hana Highway we were impressed. The large 2 person jacuzzi in the screened in porch while listening to the. ocean swell was quite relaxing. The bed is HUGE and comfortable ( I am a stomach & side sleeper ). The ceiling fans and new Andersen replacement windows allow for tremendous air flow throughout this second floor unit ( it is up on stilts ) nothing underneath… The outdoor lava rock shower was an awakening experience! The only negative for me were the sounds of the night…between the bamboo / insects / winds & rain on top of the tin roof made my sleep a bit intermittent…( some folks may love those sounds ! ) Great experience & Stay!

Beautiful and magical. Perfect Hana location by the best beach. Tropical landscape is stunning and the ocean view was appreciated.
