Stayed at Grant’s place for 5 weeks and was very impressed with the location. Close to everything - very walkable! Apartment has the old Scottish charm and was clean. Is on a busy street but didn’t really notice the noise from the bedroom or living room, just the kitchen was a bit loud so had to take zoom meetings from the couch. Check in was really great. Grant was responsive and one of the guys from the pub below helped take my very heavy suitcase up the stairs, super appreciative!!

We stayed here for a month and loved it. It was perfectly central to everything we wanted to do in Edinburgh, and especially enjoyed going to the weekly quiz held in the pub downstairs. The place is very close to multiple supermarkets, great cafes, & the museum. Grant left us a lovely welcome package, and the kitchen had all we could need. The place has high ceilings, is bright, and comfortable. Would recommend!

I had a great stay at Grant's flat! The location is unbeatable - it's just a 10 minute walk up to the Royal Mile and the Old Town, close to the Meadows, and has tons of public transportation nearby. The flat itself was as described, perfect size for 1-2 people. It's a great base to explore the city and I would definitely stay here again!

Grant is a great host, his place is located right at the heart of the city. Also you'll be staying above a pub, where you can drink with a special discount for guests! How cool is that?

Fantastic location, easily walkable to all the sights. Three supermarkets within a block. The whole street is lined with great restaurants and cafes. Would be hard to find a much better location. Grant was very responsive and helpful. We had a few small issues at the beginning of our stay which he sorted out straight away. The flat is basic but depicted accurately in the pictures. We had everything we needed.
