Katawoda was beautiful! The surrounding Georgian Bay is stunning. the cottage was right on the beach, so the view couldn't be better. The Kitchen was well equipped and clean (housekeeping cottage, so bring your own cleaning stuff, paper towels, tea towels, cleaning spray, dishwashing liquid etc). The place was nice and quiet at night. The beach is very shallow quite far out.

We really enjoyed the beautiful cabin on the beach. It had a gorgeous view of Georgian Bay from our cottage and deck. Great to BBQ on the deck with the fantastic view. We used the kayaks and canoe, lots of places to venture to. They had several kayaks, etc to rent for very reasonable prices. It was very relaxing, the water was very warm and shallow, lots of floating devices for the kids. Helen was a wonderful host. We saw lots of people fishing off the dock. The cottage was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked. Bring all your linens, towels, tea towels as indicated. Bring a bath mat as well. We would definitely come again!

Amazing location, right on the beach!! Sunsets are stunning. Cottage was clean and cozy. My big dog had a blast. Close to others but yet still have privacy. Fire on the beach is beautiful. Amazing all around

Helen and her family were great hosts! We had a great time at the cottages and really enjoyed our stay. We visited with our large dog and he really had a great time playing with the other guests' dogs. The cottage was very clean and just like in the pictures. Bring lots of drinking water because the water from the taps is hard to drink. If anyone is planning to cook full meals, it's best to bring kitchen items such as large pots and pans. Cottage #8 was right on the beach and had the best view of the lake. It was an amazing view to wake up to! Definitely recommend staying here and many thanks to Helen and her family! :)

Helen and the family were so attentive if we had an inquiry and even offered ways to enjoy our stay further! Location of our cottage (8) was right on the beach. There is park equipment on the grounds that small kids can enjoy. I would gladly return!
