The apartment is located within an amazing spa complex with stunning views of the mountains from the balcony. The transport links are exceptional with only two trains needed from Geneva airport terminating at the top of the access road to the complex itself (Fayot station) If you are really organised you can call/contact the spa reception in advance and they will collect you from the station free of charge. Access to Champery takes about 10-15 minutes by train from the same station mentioned above. Again if you are organised you can have the complex drop you off at the station and collect you on your return to save you walking up and down the access road. We were originally planning on hiring a car however the rental company let us down at the airport but due to the unbelievable transport links this was only a minor inconvenience and we would definitely use public transport when we stay here again. The spa facilities are great value at 25 CHF per visit but you are given one visit per person free when booking at the apartment which allows full access to the spa. The cooking space in the apartment is compact so it pays to think about what you plan to cook in advance or simply use the on-site snack bar or restaurant. We used the COOP in Champery for our groceries (located next to the main lift and train station) The living space would be a little cramped for any more than two people but we found it to be fine as a base to access the slopes. The only thing missing was an electric kettle which meant we had to boil water on the hob but this wasn't a big deal really. The staff at the spa couldn't help us enough and they even organised an early drop off at the train station on the day of our return flight. All-in-all a great place to stay!
