I stayed 5 nights at Mahun Bungalow and this place was truly amazing. Considering how remote Southwest Bay is, the living condition is excellent with only solar power. The bedroom was very clean and spacious. The food - breakfast, lunch, and dinner were always delicious, and they would always ask me what I'd like to have before cooking. I tried mud crab, local shell fish, mangrove fish, chicken, etc. that were all caught locally. There were lots of activities you can do on the beautiful lagoon, in the mountain and nearby villages. I went for hiking, swimming, fishing, attended a wedding and new year celebration in the village, and also tried Kava. All activities were great and everyone in the village was super friendly. Thanks Damien, George, Spencer, and everyone who helped out at the Bungalow. My final suggestion is - If you want to experience real Vanuatu village life, come and stay at Mahun Bungalow and this will be a life experience for you.
