A fantastic place to stay. Carols daughter Petra was extremely welcoming and gave some great recommendations. Although the decor is tastefully dated you had everything you need and loads of space, the river was just amazing too.

Staying with Carol was a breeze, her Daughter Petra and her husband welcomed us and gave us some great advice on places to eat in the area and what to do! The house itself was very homey and offered a very peaceful and private place to enjoy Bavaria. The river next to the house also is a great place for an evening swim! It’s also in a central location if you want to explore Munich and also some other more touristy areas while also staying somewhere more quiet. We would highly recommended Carol and her wonderful home 😊

La casa di Carol è ampia, comoda e dotata di tutto ciò che serve per un piacevole soggiorno. La posizione è tranquilla, proprio in riva al fiume Amper; a una mezz'ora di distanza da Monaco; molto comoda da raggiungere in automobile. Carol, Petra e Kurt sono stati molto gentili e disponibili nei nostri confronti. Purtroppo l'appartamento era un po' sporco. Inoltre non ci aspettavamo di trovare tutti gli oggetti personali (e le derrate alimentari) dei proprietari negli spazi a nostra disposizione. Nel complesso, comunque, un soggiorno soddisfacente; seppure con qualche margine di miglioramento.

We had a great family holiday based in Carol's lovely house. We loved that it is so traditional and has the feeling of a family home. Loads of space and very comfortable. The balcony is great with lovely views of the river. Carol was very helpful in relation to checking in and parking etc. and had some nice welcome items for us. Overall it was a great base for exploring the Munich area and it is a house that we would love to return to again.

Die Unterkunft war genau das, was wir uns erhofft hatten. Wir waren über Silvester und haben tolle Tage mit gutem selbst gekochten Essen, auf den Balkon mit Spielen und wandern verbracht. Das Kloster Andechs ist ganz in der Nähe. Mit dem Auto ist man schnell da und kann eine wunderschöne Strecke zum Kloster hoch laufen. Wir würden unglaublich gerne noch mal im Frühjahr/Sommer kommen, um in der Amper (Fluss direkt neben dem Haus) auch baden zu können.
