We loved our time at Ruger’s run! The house was a nice distance between Speculator and Northville and we visited both towns during our weekend away. Although we planned a number of outdoor activities, including using the kayaks onsite, it poured for the majority of our weekend away. That didn’t dampen our time though! We enjoyed the views from the large windows, played pool and games that were onsite and relaxed in the cozy living room while listening to the rain on the roof. We felt right at home as everything we needed was there and in immaculate condition. Thank you so much for making this rainy weekend the coziest experience.

This place was perfect for our girls weekend. It was even better than the photos! Spotlessly clean, comfortable and homey. The setting is so peaceful and beautiful. We loved spending time just watching the river - from the sunroom, the adirondack chairs in the yard and the master bedroom. I would highly recommend staying here!!

it was absolutely perfect. My Dad wanted a peaceful, relaxing cabin and that is what we got. the kayaks were nice to have and the water is so clean. the house was so clean and so spacious. the basement was great we didn't use the pool table but nice touch. we are so glad we stayed here and had perfect weather. had all the things you need and the all.pine interior is beautiful. thank you!

The house was very clean and had what we needed. Looks just like the pictures. Loved watching the river in the mornings! Saw a lot deer. Great base camp for us while we visited family and friends in the area.

We had a nice quiet stay here for Thanksgiving week. Our kids loved the bunk beds, and everything was clean and as expected. The view is beautiful and we loved having the propane stove. Things to note: remember to bring orange if you want to hike this time of year because it's hunting season (sadly we forgot!), there is not much to entertain young children so plan to bring your own toys/activities, and the kitchen is decently stocked but definitely bring your own supplies for specific things or they may not have what you need.
