We had a fabulous stay with Kyra. The cabin was “compact” but really enjoyable. There was a lovely table outside where you could soak up the local sun, watch Herons on the river and marvel at the sunsets. Bordering with the historic Fort Laramie, (our reason for visiting) was amazing. Kyra and Jim even showed us various various saddle buckles and other historical artefacts found on their land. Lovely people, lovely place!

This is a beautiful location! Very serene on the river and wonderful proximity to the National Historic Site. However, I would not recommend arriving at night. As noted in the listing, the address does not take you there, so locating the place would have been impossible with the assistance of the hosts (very lovely and friendly). The place was a bit dirty due to the dead bugs and we had a hot water issue with the shower, but neither was a huge deal. Overall this place worked out well for our road trip!
