We had such a great stay, the walk to the beach was easy and quick, we had a view of the ocean the entire stay and I would highly recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous place with ocean views. Descriptions were very accurate, clean and a great value! Our family was very comfortable here. The host was wonderful with communication - I especially appreciated the clear description of the path to the ocean and the recommendation of muck boots. It was a fantastic stay and we look forward to returning!

Lovely host, very helpful and responsive. Home was very inviting and clean with great views. However, the beach access was not easily accessible. We were provided a lock combo number, but the gate had a padlock. We had to squeeze in between the gate and bushes, which was quite challenging. On the last day we found a key on a back table in the living room for the gate; we appreciated that. My sister-in-law was unable to join us at the beach, gate key or not, because the path was extremely slippery, full of water and the rocks getting from the path to the beach was dangerous. She enjoyed staying in and looking at the view, though. I guess Oregon at the beach in the winter has its drawbacks. Hopefully that path is maintained during the other times of the year. The proximity to the beach was the primary reason we chose this rental, but unfortunately we weren’t able to get to the beach much or not at all. Bummer. All in all we enjoyed the time we were able to spend with our family

This is a great economy lodging. The price was unbeatable, better than what most local hotels would have cost. The location would be spectacular in the summer. In winter (my time) access to the beach is difficult on account of wet weather streams, especially if you are not nimble footed. I do not consider this the fault of the owner, as there are many cautions regarding the use of the beach and the access route. It just is what it is. The house is very well kept, but guests should not expect luxury (which is not advertised). The view from the windows is spectacular, though a new house is going in right next door, which will likely hide a fraction of the ocean view. Still, a good view should remain. Both the owners and the local caretaker deserve high praise for their quick responses and eagerness to be of help.
