Definitely worth a revisit! Location is stunning and even though it was pretty chilly outside, particularly for April, the barn was both snug, warm and spacious. Ali was very warm, welcoming and relaxed. Very friendly yet respected my privacy. The road entry to the farm was as described, steep and bumpy. I love off-road but it is definitely wise to take it slow if you don’t have 4x4. In fact, it makes it more special and remote reaching the destination. It was sooo nice to have fresh flowers in the jug and a barrel full of wood for the fire stove. The shower has got power too. Fab location, especially if you’re needing a topup of nature, close to the Wimbleball Lake and much cheaper than one would expect to pay for what you get. Thank you so much Ali.

Lovely converted barn, comfy, warm and clean. Slept soundly on the bunk bed. Ali was a great hostess and came to check everything was ok – all smiles. One thing to watch out for is the track that leads to the barn (a proper farm track, rutted in places). Most cars are probably ok, 4 wheel drives will be fine, but my low profile vehicle bottomed out a couple of times...
