Casale storico semplice e accogliente. Facile da raggiungere e in posizione strategica per delle visite nei dintorni. La padrona di casa Giulia è carinissima e molto disponibile.

Stayed as a family of 8 in late June. Communication before arriving was good from the host. The pros: - Excellent location! Close to the main route connecting Pisa and Florence, only 35-45 mins from each city. Several supermarkets nearby, and plenty of restaurants etc. - Huge property - plenty of bedroom space for a large group. - Kids loved the pool - it's only 1m deep, but it sufficed. The cons: - Unfortunately the WiFi hardly worked and we had to pay for roaming. I requested a minimal refund to cover our costs but Interhome didn't respond, so Airbnb had to step in. - Main road past the house is very noisy, particularly motorbikes speeding past and pulling wheelies late in the evening. - The house could be fantastic but just needs some care: handles that fall off furniture, gas rings in the kitchen that don't work, shower heads that leak etc etc. For the price we paid, the place is just a bit shabby which is a shame given the fantastic location and beautiful surroundings!

Alloggio ideale a gruppi vacanze ampi come il nostro. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo e molto gentile la host. Zona splendida, San Miniato davvero carino come paese. Unica cosa, abbiamo dovuto comprare diverse cose che speravamo di trovare come ad esempio detersivi e spugne per pulire, ma è una piccolezza che annoto così da preparare chi arriva e resta per qualche giorno.

Thank you to the women who were great at texting with us to arrange check in and check out, very clear and flexible, and to the young man and the owner herself who actually checked us in. Very friendly. This big beautiful home built in the 1600s was comfortable and clean and had a great layout for our two families with several teenagers (9 people total). We had a wonderful time in the pool and at the outdoor table, enjoying the beautiful sunsets over the vineyard! Things to note that have to be accepted (not problems for us, btw): there are mosquitos in the mornings and evenings outside, it was really hot in early July when we were there and there is no AC but there are fans in each bedroom. Lastly, while the location is great for getting to Florence, the coast, or nearby Tuscan towns, the home itself is on a fairly busy road. Didn't bother us, but something to be noted. The town of San Miniato itself (upper and lower) is nice and has good grocery stores and restaurants. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and this home was perfect for us! Thank you :)
