Very rustic and very basic but extremely beautiful location, looks exactly as pictured. Perfect for getting off the grid (wifi was pretty useless!!) not much to do around but would recommend a trip to the Saturnia hot springs about 40 minute drive and a meal at Il Carraio in Scansano which is the nearest town about 10 minute drive. This might be the best meal we’ve ever eaten and the service was impeccable. Hot showers, comfortable beds. A good spot for a short retreat. Definitely need a car. Would note that it is IMPOSSIBLE to find, recommend the agent adding a what 3 words location for the gate for future guests we spent over an hour trying to communicate with the key holder who ended up driving to find us and then we followed back. Key holder only speaks italian so have online translate at the ready if needed! All worth it when you get there.

Wunderschönes Landhaus mit sehr schönem Blick in die toskanische Hügellandschaft um Scansano. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und der großzügige Garten bietet diverse Sitzmöglichkeiten. Trotz der eher abgelegenen Lage bieten sich innerhalb von 10 Minuten Autofahrt ein paar gute Restaurant-Optionen. Einzig die ziemlich hohen Heizkosten, die zusätzlich in Rechnung gestellt wurde, fanden wir nicht ganz optimal, da es zum einen recht schwierig war, das Haus angemessen zu temperieren und zum anderen der veranschlagte Gaspreis pro m3 sehr hoch war. Dennoch hatten wir insgesamt einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt und man kann die Location empfehlen.

Haus in wunderbarer, ruhiger Lage mit einer herrlichen Terrasse und tollem Ausblick. Im Umkreis gibt es zahlreiche Möglichkeiten für nette Ausflüge. Das Haus ist einfach ausgestattet, hat aber alles was man braucht. Sowohl die Besitzerin als auch die Dame, die sich um das Haus kümmert sind sehr nett und immer hilfsbereit. Wir können es nur empfehlen.

Potrei usare una sola parola per riassumere il nostro commento su villa Lavanda: paradisiaco!! La posizione panoramica, la casa curata nei minimi particolari con gra gusto e stile, la pace, le stelle incredibili la notte... non riesco a trovare il minimo difetto! È stato un soggiorno meraviglioso! Speriamo di tornare presto!!!

we had a great time at Sandra's place. the house is big and has an amazing view! we loved this place and would recommend it to everyone who loves the silence of Tuscany.
