Loved, LOVED, LOVED Nocona Lodge. Beverly's place has EVERYTHING you even think you may need. The view is stunning. The morning visits of deer and aoudads made it magical for my little kids.

We take regular trips with our two mini Schnauzers to places where we can hike with them, and this may have been our best "Schnauzercation" yet! Beverly's home is beautiful, right on the rim of Palo Duro Canyon, with amazing views into the canyon and spectacular sunrises. The Aoudad sheep and deer come right up to the fence to be fed, and Beverly provides corn and alfalfa for them. There were also coyotes, but the fence keeps them out; they mostly just seemed curious. The house had everything we needed, and everything was well-labeled. Beverly met us at check-in, showed us around and explained everything, gave us recommendations, and even made us jalapeno margaritas! The house is just a couple of minutes from Palo Duro Canyon State Park, where we went hiking, and it's less than 15 minutes from Canyon, which has grocery stores and restaurants. It's a half-hour from Amarillo, which has more restaurants. We enjoyed the fireplace daily. We'll be back!

Our family has never been to Palo Duro Canyon, and staying at Nocona Lodge was perfect! Beverly had any and everything we could need or want. She was so helpful with local recommendations. And we loved feeding the aoudads! Also the sunrises were picture perfect from the back porch. This place was a gem, and Beverly was an extraordinary host.

We had a wonderful time staying at Nocona Lodge with our young kids for a family trip to Palo Duro. Beverly was a superb host who was easy to communicate with before the stay and who personally greeted us with a warm welcome, treats for the kids, and homemade guacamole and margaritas at check-in. The house and property were a delight with gorgeous canyon views, wildlife visitors, clean comfy and cozy rooms, and literally every amenity a visitor might need (including a fully equipped kitchen and any toiletry you could ever want!). The house is impressively well organized and we were able to find everything so easily. We loved our time at Nocona and would definitely return for another stay! Thank you, Beverly!

My grandchildren, son and myself absolutely loved, loved, loved everything. The views of the canyon were spectacular to say the least! From the gorgeous moon and stars to the incredible lightening show we were able to see over the canyon. Sitting outside was so peaceful. The wild life was unbelievable to just sit and admire. My grandchildren were amazed that they were able to feed the sheep. What huge treat for them. They were really interested about learning all they could about the wildlife. Beverly offers everything you could possibly need and then some! She was very knowledgeable about the area and gave me some awesome tips. Not to mention all the extra information regarding activities in the area we could do. Can’t wait for our next trip !!!!
