This house was everything we wanted for our base in Crete, and more. You wake up to views of the Aegean Sea from every room. The beach is so close you walk for a minute and start your day with a refreshing dip or swim. The breakfast table somehow manages to feel intimate while having expansive views. And while we all had great family time in the shared areas, we also appreciated how all rooms (especially those on the upper floors) were spacious enough and private enough to give each guest their own space and quiet. The villa is in Panormo , which is a really charming little town — after visiting several other towns in Crete , we still thought this was our favorite — with a few fantastic restaurants and other services within a short walking distance, some on the ocean and some in a cluster of beautiful pedestrian streets. Panormo is within easy driving distance to a lot of what you might want to see in Crete. Christina was responsive, friendly, flexible, warm. Loved it here.
Very nice villa with a beautiful sea view. I liked the interior design, cleanliness. The host was super friendly. However, the swimming pool is very small and not deep, is ideal for small is, not for swimming. The villa is located in the centre of the village.There are plenty restaurants and shops within walking distance. The sandy beach is just 2 mins away by walking.

Our family of 6 adults and three children had a fabulous holiday at the beautiful Villa Contessa del mare in Panormos, Crete. Kostas and his excellent Etouri team made booking a breeze, answering any questions promptly. He corresponded regularly with us throughout and once at the villa support was available 24/7 via a free house phone. We highly recommend this villa, which is modern, spacious and conveniently located steps from the beach, shops & tavernas and the owner Christina gave us a very warm welcome and was helpful throughout. We were extremely pleased with the excellent support from Kostas and Etouri and wouldn’t hesitate to book through them in the future.
