Eine schöne Unterkunft mit tollen Räumlichkeiten, optimal für eine kleine Gruppe von 6 Personen. Das Haus ist nett und sehr persönlich eingerichtet, wirkt dadurch angenehm belebt.Mit den drei Bädern, den schönen großen offenen Wohn-Küchen-Essbereich war es sehr angenehm und genug Platz. Bei offener Schiebetür auf der Terrasse am großen Tisch gemeinsam zu Essen, drinnen brennt der Kamin - das ist schon ein schöner Urlaub. Die Lage war für uns auch super; Nahversorgung, Tankstelle, das Meer ist alles innerhalb weniger Minuten gut zu erreichen. Es ist typisch griechisch und die Gegend auch nicht sehr touristisch. Leider ist im Haus nicht alles funktionsfähig gewesen: anfangs funktionierte die Toilettenspülung nicht richtig und muckte auch immer mal wieder, obwohl sich die Vermieterin sofort bei unserer Anreise darum gekümmert hat und auch gleich ein Handwerker kam. Der Backofen wurde nicht richtig heiß und die Mikrowelle ging auch nicht. Dafür gibt es im Außenbereich einen riesengroßen Grill, den wir dann auch gut genutzt haben. Es war auch nicht wirklich richtig sauber, sodass wir in der Küche erst einmal "klar Schiff gemacht haben". Die Kommunikation mit Mina hat aus Deutschland und auch vor Ort super geklappt. Trotz der Mängel würde ich wiederkommen, dies aber im Vorfeld abklären.

In this house, a big group of 8 people stayed, however, there would be no room for another person. The place is great for people who have cars as walking anywhere could be difficult. The nearest supermarket is 6 minutes away by car, and the swimming pool is 5 minutes by car. On the notice, it is stayed that the pool is 200 meters, however this is very untrue; only after 500 meters will there be a road leading to the ocean which mainly suits vacationing for the sunset. The Pros: Big and quiet space to relax, very nice layout and has a big terrace. Relationships with the owner was also fine. However, by the end of the trip she requested money for the clog in the drain of the kitchen sink (water was going down slowly). It does not come as a surprise that there is an issue with the pipes; during our stay, the toilet became clogged as a tree grew into the pipe. I would also like to point out some things about the house: There was no hair dryer, the coffee machine did not work, the conditioner only worked for 2 floors. The house was not very clean and was not taken care of!! I would brush all of this aside if the owner of the house came to an understanding. Our cars were full to the brim with suitcases meaning it was difficult to take the trash with us, but the wonder of the house said that in order to call someone to help us with the trash, we must pay extra. There are no trash cans near by! One must drive to them.

Chalkhoutsi is a beautiful place to be in Greece,one needs to spend at least 3 days to enjoy the lovely place,nice home,loved the space
