We had a great stay in Myddle! The property was decorated well with the bedroom and living room particularly comfortable. The kitchen was a bit dated compared to the rest of the house and perhaps needs a few improvements like new utensils and spruce up. The garden was perfect for us - secure for our dog and sun in the afternoon. Owner provided helpful advice e.g. with internet and was very responsive across the whole stay. Maybe a dvd player would be good in case of Internet issues. It was a very quiet, peaceful location in a lovely little village. The local pub was brilliant with a big dog-friendly beer garden. Would stay again and would recommend!

A couple of minor issues around 6pm every evening the internet and streaming were almost unusable but it picked up again around 7pm. There were a few mucky plates and a couple of shelves in the fridge were mucky, Other than the above the house was very clean and comfortable and the description matched what we had access to. Vicky was very approachable and responded quickly to a query. The neighbours were very welcoming and talkative. Can thoroughly recommend the Red Lion in the village, the food was very good and staff are welcoming and talkative. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the surroundings are very picturesque. As usual the English weather wasn't the greatest but it didn't stop us from doing what we had planned.

We had a lovely stay at Alford Gardens. The house felt very welcoming. Great facilities generally and lovely clean bedding. The only slight negative was that we felt the kitchen utensils and cooking and serving dishes could do with an update. Would definitely stay again when visiting family.

Lovely cottage with a great pub to walk to. Great facilities in house and hist was very professional. Bit far from Shrewsbury which is lovely to. Many thanks for a fabulous weekend .
