Mike's place is even more beautiful than the photos showed. We stayed during the solar eclipse of 2024, and it was the perfect viewing location. Even in normal times, the mountain views and setting in the woods next to a stream are perfect. Plenty of room for larger groups, and private space for smaller groups. Hiking and snowshoeing right in the neighborhood, and 10 minutes to Jay Peak. It was easy to check in and out, and Mike was also very helpful and responsive when we thought we left something in the house. I hope I can stay again!

My family and I enjoyed a great stay at the Shangri-la House. Convenient to Jay, Montgomery and the places we frequent when spending time in the NEK.

We loved staying at Mike’s house. It’s a beautiful home that feels very comfortable, has amazing views of the mountains and is very close to Jay Peak. To sit in front of the fire place was one of our favorite things to do. The kitchen has everything needed and the snow plows were there when they were needed.

Beautiful large house, close to Jay Peak. Our family found it a nice place to stay. The only small issue was snow removal. We had to shovel to get our cars parked and the step was icy. It didn’t take long. We all enjoyed our stay and would return.

We loved our stay at the Shangri-La house! It was so spacious for our big family and the location was perfect! The house is located so close the mountain, it was just what we needed. We definitely cannot wait to come back!
