Emma was so lovely, she helped us locate the hut when we initially got lost and was so friendly and helpful the entire time. The hut had everything we needed and this enabled us to really enjoy our stay.

The hut was cozy, very clean, and had everything we needed, including cooking utensils, logs for the wood burner, and a great list of hiking trails and walks in the surrounding area. The nearby farms were scenic and peaceful, and the hut provided a unique experience. We really enjoyed our stay at the Shepherd’s hut in the Peak District!

The Shepherd’s Hut was an absolute delight. Exactly what I hoped for and it’s was perfect. A idyllic remote sense of location but at the same time only a short drive to nearest town and a great pub within walking distance. I love being in the Peak District and the hut has lots of great walks straight from the door or a short drive away. The English weather was, as expected, changeable but the hut was perfect for all weathers snug and warm with the wood burner lit when the rain was lashing at the window or bright and airy as the sun set with the fire pit lit.

My friend and I had a lovely stay at Emma’s shepherd huts. The huts were decked out with everything you need (we cooked one night) and the bed was really comfy. Emma gave us some great recommendations for walks around the area. Would also highly recommend The Ship Inn down the end of the road - the staff and landlord are so lovely! Would definitely come back again.
