We had a quick one night stay at Dianne’s place when we missed our flight. The eclipse traffic was real! On short notice Dianne was quick to respond and made sure everything was in order for us to stay. She’s not kidding when she says her place is well stocked! The biggest snack basket we have seen in all our years of staying at Airbnb as well as every condiment and spice you could think of. The space was clean and comfortable and the back yard is gorgeous. Dianne was a wonderful host and we really appreciated her accommodations on short notice.

Dianne is an incredible host. She was proactive reaching out to me to find out what our family needed, which means the world especially since we have 2 small kids! She also took the extra step of making sure to clear out extra space in her basement and provided plenty of toys for the kids to play with. Our stay was really wonderful, and the house was perfect for our family of four. We had food and snacks already provided when we got there, which was super helpful and a nice touch The location is also super convenient—right next to restaurants and shops, and pretty easy to get on to interstate if you want to make a day trip to Hartford or other places in the area (we recommend to Connecticut Science Center and Kidcity if you have small children) Thank you Dianne—we will be back!

Dianne’s place was everything listed and more. She was a great host, super communicative and flexible, and went above and beyond with all the small things such as providing snacks and giving local recommendations. We had a large group and felt super comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here and it was a close drive to ski sundown which was super convenient for our group! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a cozy stay nearby.
