Sparkford Hall is a great venue because it is grand but also homely. We were 36 adults and the place was able to provide the accomodation required. We were able to all dine together and hang out in the main room. The kitchen was also good for our rolling breakfasts with people able to sit and eat there. The central ground floor bar was a great gathering point. The cellar "nightclub" was atmospheric and the house sound system gave a perfect volume for us. We were there in December and the house was lovely and warm and we were all pleasantly surprised by this, as it is a big house to heat.

Amazing location for a big family gathering. House and gardens are private and spacious. Rooms allowed everyone to have some time out as well as some fun times together. We cooked for 20 with ease. The house isn’t precious, a little quirky but impressive - we felt right at home with a dog and children. Recommend to all.

We spent three amazing days in Thekla‘s house for a business summit. It was perfect as it provided enough room and space for 12 people to work, socialise and sleep. The place is well-maintained and ideal for bigger groups to get out of the daily routine and come together. We appreciated the separate cinema room which we used for our presentations and workshops. Thekla and her husband were solution-oriented and very easy to connect and communicate with. All in all: We loved it and would definitely come back! Highly recommended!
