房源环境不错，一张床两个沙发床。基本设施也都有的，蛮齐全的。房东也一直在等待我们，然后和我们说一些注意事项，还介绍我们附近吃的玩的。介绍一开始说能寄存行李的，但是我们入住前问房东时说不能，因为后面的租客已经确定了来的时候。但是这样对我们后面的游玩有了很大的影响，要随时拿着行李走。这点比较不开心。还有暖气不是很热，半夜冻醒了，发现暖气自动关了，不知道是我们不会弄还是它提前设置了。
John met us on arrival and let us stow our luggage until check in at 3:00. Florence was extremely busy but on the other side of the river it’s very quiet. Very nice with a little courtyard, patio and lots of room to relax in. The bed was very comfortable. We would love to stay again.
We seniors loved staying here in this lovely garden apartment! John is truly a super host and responsive to guests' needs. Location is great for travel in the heart of Florence, and the apartment is a perfect place to rest and recuperate after a strenuous day of touring. Would re-book in a minute!
The unit is great for a couple visiting the sights of Firenze. It is walking distance, with luggage, from the train station (Firenze SMN) and all the historic attractions. In addition to having a private back yard and also a sunroom, it is well laid out and spacious making a comfortable home. The bathroom is impressive: Lovely marble throughout including a spacious marble shower with a choice of shower head spray or rainfall. The bed is comfortable and the unit is silent at night for good sleeping. Advice: Wear sensible, sturdy shoes in Firenze: This ancient city is paved throughout with cobblestones, some more uneven than others! We didn't see nearly all the sites we wanted to visit in 5 days so will return and will not hesitate to rent from John again!
John and Christine have lovely taste and style. The house is quiet and in a convenient position. John greeted us which was wonderful and helpful. He had lots of tips for places to eat and things to do.

Hi - we're John and Christine. We were married in Venice and decided to sell up in the UK and come and live in Florence permanently. Having experienced exotic places such as India, French Polynesia, South America, Malaysia and buzzing cities such as Boston, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires and Moscow, we have always spent more time in Italy than any other country. From Sorrento to Bologna, Ischia to Lucca, Capri to San Gimignano, we have stayed all over Italy but always our heart was in Toscana. Now we enjoy the Chianti, the unbelievably flavoursome vegetables and fruit that grow like magic here, the dolce vita but mostly the Italian people and culture. Our neighbours are Fiorentini artisans and restaurant owners who help us with our Italian and anything that needs fixing. We want you to enjoy staying in Oltrarno as much as we love living there so the apartment is designed for you to relax, cook, socialise, eat outside and enjoy all the sights of Florence in easy walking distance. We love wandering down to Piazza Santo Spirito to eat or buy from the food and regular vintage and antiques markets. But mostly we love aperitivo in the garden with friends.
