La casa es preciosa, tal y como aparece en las fotos. Una pena no haber podido disfrutar del jardín, ha llovido muchísimo. La chimenea lo mejor, lo peor el baño de arriba, muy frío, aún así, volvería sin dudarlo.

I loved Sao Martinho and all that it offers. The only draw back is the lack of night life during this time a year. I had visited before during the summer and it is totally different. The home is in a great location close to everything. We had issues with the downstairs bathroom. The shower was unusable. This caused 8 people to use the same shower. Minor inconvenience. Rita was a great communicator and very friendly.

The house was charming and clean and clearly loved and right in town. Rita was a generous and responsive host. We were 5 grownups and 3 kids and had more than enough space. The house was cold for us, as it was chilly weather at the end of December and the heating only consisted of a few space heaters (for the bedrooms) and the fireplace. Luckily the bedrooms were warm enough with the space heaters and the doors closed at night, and the fireplace was great to sit in front of! The space was generally comfortable and homey. New Year's eve was lovely, including take-out chicken from the local Churrasqueira Novo Sabor, an amazing fireworks show we could see from the backyard, and a bottle of wine that Rita gifted us!

Our stay at Rita's beautiful home was absolutely amazing! The house is gorgeous, tons of history in the area, perfect location. Quiet with a lovely view of the São Martinho bay, but very accessible by foot to many beaches, hiking, groceries, restaurants, etc. It was super comfortable for our group of 6 with 2 kids. Very clean and well equipped for grilling, cooking, etc. Sitting in the backyard was my favorite part of my holiday. Would definitely stay again!

This is a beautiful villa and family home centrally located in Sao Martinho do Porto. The place looks exactly like on the pictures, it is well equipped and a really nice atmosphere. We particularly loved the quiet garden with a view on the sea. Sao Martinho do Porto can be very windy, and then the garden provides a great spot to hang out. The house is a short walk from the beach, and close to other great places like Obidos and Nazaré. Rita (and her mother Cecilia) were great and friendly hosts who responded quickly to any needs and questions. We stayed there with two families, four adults and five teenagers. Would definitely recommend the place!
