我们定的是一套整栋的房子，房东是一位年轻漂亮的姑娘，不巧的是她去爱尔兰度假去了，接待我们的是她的母亲和父亲还有她的小baby。他们等我们到很晚，据说这间在马耳他的民宿有一千多年的历史了，房东的母亲介绍说这套房子是她二十年前花了7000英镑买下的一座破旧不堪的千年老房子，整个房子都是用石头砌成的，共三层，还有一个天台，可以晾晒衣服，天台上有一个很大的太阳能热水器，也可以看到小城的风貌，她的老公是马耳他当地人，完全不会英语，一看就是一个本分老实人，不苟言笑，怀里抱着一个吸着奶嘴的外孙子，小baby非常可爱，一看见几个外国人，不停的冲着我们手舞足蹈咯咯的笑，不过房东的母亲会说英语，她热情的指挥我们把车停到公共区域停车位，然后带着我们参观他们的房子，一间一间的介绍，这套房子的二楼有三间卧室，每件卧室都有一台空调，海尔和格力，都是中国制造，一楼和三楼各有一个厨房，一层一个卫生间共三个卫生间，一个客厅，两个餐厅，家里的灯饰非常精致，屋里摆放了许多工艺品，谈起她的房子，她就滔滔不绝，她介绍说当初她买下的房子整个墙面石头是不平整的，都是她的老公和她一点一点琢成现在这样的，墙体表面也可以看出一点一点敲琢的原始痕迹，还有楼梯的铁艺扶手都是她的老公自己做的，她家的所有家具都是采用原木制作，厨房用具一应俱全，冰箱，洗碗机，电磁炉以及全套厨房餐具，甚至还有擀面杖……房子还有一个院子，院子里有烧烤的用具，还有一个漂亮的泳池，我们可以在这个院子里用餐，非常棒的一次体验。

We had a great time at this house. I traveled to Malta in March for spring break with my wife and 3 teenage boys. The location is off the beaten path, which I appreciated for a few reasons. The house was cozy, yet spacious. It was March, so the pool was freezing. Everyone only jumped in once. I recommend renting a car for this location. Although, we also tested out Uber and Bolt for transportation , and they were efficient and cheap. You could probably get along without a rental car. The house is near a full grocery store and cooking meals here was easy and economical. We took the ferry to Gozo one day, and it was about a 45 minute drive to the ferry terminal. Golden Bay was our favorite beach, about 30-35 min drive depending on traffic. Francesca was quick to communicate with and very helpful with answers to questions. Definitely would recommend the house.

Francesca was an amazing host. The house is such a beautiful piece of history in the area and really took our breath away. Francesca was flexible, responsive and we really felt at ease with her as our host. The outside area was beautiful and we even braved the pool despite the cooler temperature! The place was private and it was a truly special trip for us. We would love to come back if Francesca will have us!

We had a great time at Francesca's Airbnb. We were 3 couples on a quick trip and the home was the perfect size. The home is incredibly lovely. The charm is spectacular. Kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. Even used the grill and ate dinner by the pool one night. Everything was clean. Plenty of hot water for everyone to shower. Close to the airport. Convenience store was just a 1 minute walk away with a bakery/convenience store a few minutes away. Good location. A few things to note: the pool doesn't have a hot tub. It has a section with jets, but it isn't heated, so the pool was too cold to use in January. The WiFi also isn't super strong everywhere throughout the house, so if you need to work while you stay, this might not be the right fit for you. For our trip, it was good enough to search places to see, reserve an Uber, and scroll on Insta. Overall, this is a phenomenal rental! Francesca was very responsive and gave us recommendations. Would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this fantastic house. The house was very spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The pool was amazing and, although it was late December, we enjoyed swimming every day. Location is good if you have a car as it is an easy drive to lots of sights and there are two supermarkets nearby
