Stayed at Branka’s place with family (partner, two kids and her sister) in May 2024. Branka is super-welcoming, the place is nice and very peaceful. 15’ drive to the coast and some 30’ to Stanjel. Definitely recommended is you are looking for a great base to explore Karst & Trieste (just don’t get afraid by the winding road up to Sela na Krasu!).

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt bei Branka! Sie hat uns herzlich empfangen mit einem Willkommenstrunk im Weinkeller und mit Informationen und Leckereien aus eigenem Anbau bestens versorgt! Das Haus war für uns (2 Erwachsene mit 4 Kindern) sehr gut ausgestattet und es ist perfekt gelegen für verschiedene Ausflüge zu Stränden und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

We were at Sela na Krasu for our summer holiday. We like the privacy and peace of the village, which is exactly what the accommodation at Branka gave us. We went for short walks with the kids in the area, went to the beach every morning in Sistiana and Monfalcone, and explored the more remote areas of Slovenia. Branka was always very nice, offered us figs and vegetables from her garden, and had interesting tips for us on where to go and what to experience. The house was clean, nothing was missing in the house equipment. We felt very comfortable there and enjoyed our holiday on the border of Slovenia and Italy very much.
