The best air bnb experience I have ever had. Host was attentive without being nosy or over bearing. Huge grounds for walking in the morning with a fresh cup of coffee. Nice people with a very nice house! The history alone is worth the trip, it’s like a mini museum. Thanks again for a fantastic stay!!
Our stay with Kim and Chas was excellent, it was the perfect place to start and end our days while visiting distilleries, horse farms and downtown Louisville. We had actually stayed here once earlier in the summer of 2021 but only while passing through. We enjoyed staying here so much we planned another trip to actually visit Louisville and stay at Midlane Farm. Communication before our check-in with Kim was great and made some recommendations of local spots. The home itself was amazing, bedrooms are all very spacious, and comfortable. Its a blessing to have AC in kentucky summers in a house this old. We loved hanging out on the back porch every morning to enjoy breakfast and coffee provided by Kim. We also enjoyed the back porch in the evenings hanging out with the cat Texas who was very friendly. The living rooms were great for later in the evening to unwind and just watch some Netflix. On the last night we really enjoyed sitting in the parlor with Kim and Chas sharing bourbon and stories about the house, Louisville , bourbon and horses. We would highly recommend staying with Chas and Kim for anyone visiting Louisville and surrounding towns or even just passing through.
The home is beautiful and the hosts were very helpful. it's great being able to stay in such an old beautiful house, enjoy a glass of bourbon in the parlor or a cup of coffee on the back porch. the hosts were very helpful able to accommodate our late check-in, give us recommendations on tours, restaurants and even stores to find rare bourbons. we will be back here again to enjoy the bourbon trial.

Kim & Chaz’s hospitality is unrivaled. Their home is beautiful, clean & cozy, everything we look for in a stay! Not to mention they have the most precious pets — we fell in love with Haywood, Rufus & Tex! We look forward to our next stay at Midlane Farm.

Chas and Kim Laramore-Stephens are owners/caretakers of Chas' family home "Midlane Farm" built in 1820 and never out of the immediate family. Working on the home be it inside or out are the passions of Chas and Kim. Tending the vegetable and flower gardens and consuming and sharing the fruits of their labor gives the couple much pride and happiness. Both professionals Chas and Kim have other jobs as well. They own and manage a local distribution company of consumable paper and packaging products. Kim's hobbies are all that is southern, hailing from Mississippi and Georgia she cherishes the southern lifestyle of hospitality and graciousness. When not working on the "farm" Chas is a competitive sailor racing sailboats wherever the competition takes him.
