Eulandool cottage, located just 25km from the Western Plains Zoo is an ideal farmstay for young families or those seeking some peace and quiet in rural Australia. Eulandool cottage is nestled on an historic working property just south of Dubbo. The two bedroom cottage has views across open paddocks to a creek lined with 100 year old gum trees. It is the perfect location for a family visiting the zoo with room to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and detox digitally if desired. Eulandool cottage has two bedrooms, the main with a queen bed and the second with two single beds, one with a trundle. A port-a-cot and high chair are available for guests with infants. Nestle by the slow combustion fire while you watch the kangaroos graze, the finches and wrens hop through the trees and listen to the friendly possum of an evening. In the morning, cook up a BBQ breakfast on the veranda with complementary free-range eggs from the nearby chicken coop and soak up the country air. Experience the joys of the country as you pat one of the pet sheep, feed the chooks and depending on the time of year, give a bottle to a poddy lamb or calf. We are happy to help you digitally detox and remove the white noise of your busy lives. The cottage has 4G connectivity through Telstra which provides mobile and internet access via an antenna and booster box which we can switch off before you arrive to help you get back in touch with the basics and return to nature! We have a range of optional extras available through our business FOOD by EUCO (@FOODbyEUCO). These include a romantic surprise, grazing box, delicious gourmet platters or a family zoo hamper. All rates are for up to five guests plus an infant. Eulandool is a working property so children should be supervised especially when near all animals. Guests are requested to stay away from machinery. At Eulandool Cottage we engage professional pest controllers on a regular basis to ensure the cottage is as free as possible of pests and insects, given its rural location. It was great to stay at Eulandool! Clare as a lovely wecloming host. We had a great time on their farm and a wonderful experience. Our kids loved playing with your children, feeding Winter and other animals, as well as the visit to the shearing shed. The property is a great base to visit the western plains zoo, and far enough out from Dubbo that you truely feel away from everything. Eating breakfast and watching the cows and sheep right out the window was very memorable for the kids! Thankyou so much.
Clare and her daughters were lovely and welcoming. My kids loved playing with the girls and feeding the chickens and sheep and playing with the dog. We enjoyed walking on the property and seeing cows and sheep. The house itself had clean beds and a hot strong shower. We did feel that overall the house needed a good clean and did feel a bit run down. But the farm experience and hosts made it an enjoyable stay. Thank you!
Stayed for the weekend my son and partner. Clare was more than accommodating and extremely helpful. The property is so beautiful and it was awesome seeing all the animals. Quiet, cosy and peaceful. Would recommend!
Clare’s house was just as described and the same as the pictures. We stayed with our three young boys who got to feed the chooks. They had fun being out in nature.
Exactly what we were after. We live in an apartment in the city with our 18 month old daughter. We wanted a peaceful farm experience. Our daughter got to feed chickens, pat sheep etc. Great experience and lovely hosts!

Eulandool Homestead was built pre- Federation - a magnificent home, 120 years old, set in impressive garden surrounds. In 2005 a significant renovation was completed, restoring the beautiful building to its original grandeur.
Eulandool is located on a dirt road. It is accessible by two wheel drive unless it is very wet.
