Oscar was extremely responsive, especially when we were undergoing water issues (not isolated to just our place, was affecting most of Cabo). He had a water truck come out promptly to fill the reserve tank so we could continue to use the water. After getting some confusing info from one of his helpers, Oscar stepped in and took over communications. It will be hard to find a host as responsive and customer caring as him.

All the good stuff in the other reviews is very accurate! It IS like a private resort. The gorgeous views, landscaping, comfortable beds, amazing pool, great sound system, egg smoker for bbq, and more. Oscar was so attentive. We loved nearby Chileno beach. We were surprised to see a volleyball court, as it wasn't in the photos. Oscar told us why it isn't in the photos - it's filled with dog poo. A surprise visit from the dog's owner solved that mystery. He lives on the property in his own place, and would play extremely loud, terrible guitar solos every single day with bouts of feedback. We would blast our own tunes to drown it out. The daily drum solos were at least better quality. Other things to note: 1. There are mozzies that get through the screens - bug spray is enough 2. Some of the light switches are in the wrong rooms 3. You can save 10 min on an Uber to SJD by crossing the highway, due to where the turnaround lanes are. Even with the bad jam sessions, we loved our stay.

WOW! What an incredible experience we had staying at the Villa hosted by Oscar. From the very beginning, Oscar was available and accessible for all of our needs. From a smooth check in process, to assisting us with activities and adventures, Oscar was there every step of the way. We couldn’t have asked for a better host or experience in Cabo San Lucas. This villa is one of a kind and a MUST see. It is absolutely stunning and perfect for a family or group of friends. The views from the Villa are breath taking. There is so much to do, you don’t even have to leave! The grounds are absolutely beautiful and extremely peaceful and quiet. We have been coming to Cabo for over ten years, and after staying at the Villa, I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. If you are looking to visit Cabo, you have to stay here! We had the best experience that we have ever had, and Oscar was by far the best host we have encountered. This villa is one of a kind and I highly recommend staying here! I promise you won’t regret it!!

So I want to start this review by acknowledging how many times Oscar, our host, saved us during our very chaotic vacation. We had a group of 8 people ages ranging from 23-73 years old. We are very thankful, but you should know we did have a lot go wrong during our stay which was a little embarrassing for me who planned/booked our vacation. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, the pictures are pretty much accurately represented minus a few different bedding arrangements. Nothing crazy. About a 20 minute Uber/drive to each side of the Cabos, 30 minutes from the airport with private security at the beginning of the road. *PROS* •Felt like you were at your own resort. •Tara & Oscar also offer grocery trips for a certain amount of money which was so convenient. •The private boat tour we booked through Oscar was PHENOMENAL!!! Biggest highlight of our trip. •Super yummy pizza place down the road too •Very beautiful neighborhood •Rooms were spacious and very well decorated •Bacci ball was so much fun!! •Great communication & recommendations from Oscar/Tara. •Jenga was a hit! •Easy walk to a convenient store and market with beautiful glass blown art! •All the different spaces you could be at in the same home really stood out to us, we felt privacy throughout our entire stay! •Sound system throughout the house/pool. •We felt safe and secure our entire stay!! *CONS* •No working stove, so Oscar brought us countertop burners. Kinda sucky because we had so many people to feed and it didn’t work for majority of our stay, but save #1. We made it work with those and the outdoor grill by the pool. •The bedding was a bit dusty and bugsy, we shook it out. •We stayed during rainy days, so areas in the house were getting water through since the roof is palapa - not the hosts fault, but still a hazard for the older people in our group. •Outdoor lighting at the bar area/pool wasn’t working most of the time, so we used our phone lights. •No hot water in the main house and the smaller casita, so a few of my guests had a miserable first 3 days. Only Suite 2 had warm water. •Toilets needed to be opened up in the back to flush, but still worked. •Pool filtration system was not working, so no water circulation - still water. We still loved the pools though. Overall, some of these things added up and our vacation wasn’t feeling like much of a vacation anymore. We don’t blame Oscar for any of these mishaps. Oscar truly went above and beyond by literally helping us move and find a different place to stay nearby. He brought us lunch & drinks and kept constant communication throughout our stay. The second house was a sense of relief. Seemed like everything that could have gone wrong did, but without the amazing host, our vacation would not have turned out the way it did. We enjoyed ourselves & appreciated Oscar and Tara’s attentiveness so much.
