What can I say that hasn't been said in every review that has been posted about this fairytale cottage. A piece of paradise that everyone should experience. From the moment you arrive and are met by the most amazing warm hosts,the lovely Vanessa and Robert,you feel deep down that the time you are about to spend is going to be truly special. And wow......it exceeded all expectations. My partner and I feel truly blessed to have experienced two nights in this home.Which I can't emphasize enough,it felt like home. I think our only regret is that we didn't get to spend more time with Vanessa and Robert,a truly wonderful couple,with the most relaxed,warm and welcoming energy. Will definitely be heading back again to this haven at some point,and to anyone debating staying.....debate no longer,this is the place for you,enjoy.

Nous avons passé de très agréables journées et nuits chez Vanessa. Le cottage est charmant, décoré avec goût, et parfait pour une retraite amoureuse. Nous avons apprécié toutes les courses faites par Vanessa pour nous offrir un accueil sans avoir besoin de faire des courses. Le poele fonctionne parfaitement ainsi que internet, des nuits extrêmement silencieuses, une région magnifique, et les conseils avisés de Vanessa quand nécessaire. Un lieu splendide et un accueil parfait que nous recommandons sans hésiter. Un sans-faute...

We had the best week staying at Vanessa’s, we felt right at home. It was the perfect accommodation which provided plenty of privacy and offered a host who was just incredible all round. They had the kitchen stocked with plenty essentials and the cottage provides a lot of the basic necessities, a lot of board games and all the books to read whilst being cosied up in front of the fireplace. We enjoyed a few of the listed recommendations - had a lovely Sunday roast at The Bell at Sapperton, did a bit of shopping at the local farm shop Jolly Nice, had an amazing dinner at the Painswick Hotel and explored around Tetbury. Overall the hosts were very helpful, kind and very accommodating, and the cottage had the best views of the surrounding fields and forests. And their little puppy Snoopy is the cutest gardener!

We originally chose to stay here because of the other glowing reviews of Vanessa’s cottage, and we are so glad that we did. Everything was absolutely perfect. The cottage is absolutely charming, and the decor was stunning. Vanessa and Robert were extremely friendly and inviting. They gave us wonderful recommendations of what to do in the area and made us feel right at home. This is by far the best Airbnb experience we have ever had, and we definitely want to return one day.
