Jaime’s place was perfect for exploring Spanish wells, enjoying the beach and even working some times. It’s basic and comfortable and had all we needed. The golf cart and kayak were perfect extras.

Spanish Wells is a great location to relax and unwind. You will not find any commercialized franchises. We were about a block away from a beautiful white sand beach. Most days we were the only ones on the beach. Everyone was very friendly and it’s safe. The accommodations were perfect for us. King bed very comfortable. Golf cart meant everything was within a 10 minute drive. The reef keeps the water near shore very shallow and calm. During low tide you can walk 1/2 mile out and only be at your knees. Lots of starfish and stingrays to see. Jaime’s Rum Punch is incredible and I highly recommend! Jaime and Shannon were very accommodating and anytime we had any questions they were quick to respond. We will be back again for a longer stay!

Very clean and great location. The bed is so comfy that I slept and didn’t wake up stiff like in some placesI have stayed. I suggest you buy a phone card and take a picture of the map that’s on the table. Everyone was very friendly. Our son liked to take a stroll and feed the goats his apple core and granola bar. We had a great time and will be back.

Very comfortable and cozy place on a beautiful island

If you want to pay for your vacation and “deal with the problems that arise on your own” then this the place for you. After the initial helpful move in, the owners did very little to help us as problems developed. After 2 days we needed to do laundry, and neither of two washing machines worked. There was no notification of this situation. My wife put our nice clothes into the machine, started the wash cycle. The machine filled up with water and stopped. Our expensive clothes sat in the water for a couple of hours without the washer doing anything. We emailed Jaime for help, and her response was that because today was a public holiday, the electrician will come tomorrow. We asked her to call us, she did. She was very rude on the phone…we don’t think she was ever introduced to the words “hello” or “goodbye”. Her reaction to my wife’s questions about help with this situation were “Jesus” and “you’re unreasonable”. When my wife asked Jaime “what am I supposed to do with all these soaking wet clothes in the soapy water?”, her answer was “deal with it! Jesus”. After she hung up on my wife, we took the clothes out to put them into the second machine, which also did not work. So then we had to hand wring them and put the soapy clothes into the dryer to dry them. Finally the repairman did show up. The next day we totally lost internet connectivity. We had to use someone’s local phone because we could not let Jaime know about it since the internet was down. We did not have internet access for the rest of our stay. Neither Jaime nor her husband dropped by to ask how we are doing and what the checkout procedures are, even though we saw him driving by several times during our stay. We had to check out based on our guesses. Another huge indication of lack of concern for their guest’s well-being is evident in the fact that even though she told us that she had Covid-19, her husband and son, who were around us initially, did not wear masks, or show any caution around us. Also, at the same time her husband was still actively engaged in his charter boat company Seagillian Life Adventures with clients, according to Jaime. Also it should be noted that the golf cart that was provided, although it worked, had parts that were taped on, and periodically became unattached. Finally, in the Covid times especially, the cleaning of the house should be much better. Pieces of food were still attached to some of the dishes, the counters , and some of the utensils. The floor was not clean. There are plenty of cleaner and nicer places other than this one that you can rent on Spanish Wells Bahamas. Without hearing from the house owner “Deal with it!”… while paying for it.
