PROs. Friendly family. The place was nice. The accommodations were good. Nice views off the back the balcony. George the son is a great cook. Cons. IF YOU DONT SPEAK SPANISH OR HAVE SOMEONE THAT DOES DONT GO TO HOLGUIN. Unless you have a tour guide which most are on the US embassy DO NOT go list DONT GO. Let me say I am a single woman from USA. I was suppose stay for 28 days so I can experience the many towns and beaches; BUT THIS WAS THE WORst experience. The location is not near the center and is not very desirable (at least the outside). There are no activities as were suggested as advertised. No wifi unless you have a unlocked USA phone (which was not stated) and I had no service after buying a Cuba sim card but did not know this (wasted 1000 pesos). SO I had no cell service AND spent over 600$ for roaming. You can not buy groceries. Unless you have a prepaid card which you cannot purchase. So you are spending useless $$ on snacks. The restaurant service is slow lacks moral. electricity & wifi turns off at min x2 day and night for several hours. Nothing to do very boring. They over charge you for everything 160 pesos for water 32oz. No one was friendly. They do not have good customer service in town. I did not feel wanted as an American tourist. I ran out of funds and could not get any access to $. I was so stressed I did nothing and had a horrible time. I learned that a third-country is very slow and not up to date on anything related to technology or service. The host made me feel stupid for not as George said "you shouldve done your research" . i did hours of research. I did not go out at night because the "host" say "its not safe" so nothing to do. I watched hours of videos and read tourist blogs and that is not what was said. it said it was safe ( because all the house have bars like a prison). They still use horse and carriage for transportation. I WAS MISERIBLE. I left 3 weeks early. I had to pay someone 300.00 to drive me 10 hours to the nearest airport in HAVANA. I prepaid and THE HOST for the air bnb. I requested a weeks refund and they did not want to refund me partial of my money. I DO NOT THINK THIS IS FAIR. IT WAS falsely advertised I WILL NOt SUGGEST GOING TO HOLIGUIN,CUBA. Or go some other country They do not appreciate tourist. GO to HAVANNA or places where there is a better tourist place where they appreciate you as a American tourist or a tourist unless you dare. "I supported the People" but i did not get anything in return. I learned if i go to a third world country take more $$, speak the language (or bring a friend), do not expect anything from the people, push through the pain of not having accommodations and always SMILe.

Super schönes casa! Sehr sauber mit wirklich wunderschöner Terrasse. Haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt!!

Super Ausstattung, geniales Frühstück und Abendessen. Die ganze Familie hilft mit, den Aufenthalt perfekt zu machen. In nur 10 Minuten ist man zu Fuss in der Stadt. Das Auto kann man für eine geringe Gebühr um die Ecke parken, dort wird es von einem lustigen Opa rund um die Uhr bewacht. Nancy kann man ohne Abstriche empfehlen. Anja und Pascal
