Super great place!
We had 50+ family members for our family reunion. Something to to do with every age group from baby to grandpas. From a playground with trampoline and slide to horse shoes and zip line. The wagons and the covered BBQ were all fully equipped. The 6 bathrooms were enough for all of us and were also fully stocked. If you forgot something the camp would have it. It was a rainy night when we-arrived the host went out of their way to bring us a gas fire pit since the wood burning ones wouldn’t stay lite. And we all stayed warm in our wagon with the headed bedding and gas fireplaces. We are already talking about returning next year. Thank you Maria Burton
Truly great concept! Staying in wagons not only sounds great… This venue delivers!! If you look for a perfectly located (right between Bryce Canyon and Zion), other-than-ordinary-motel-room venue, search no more! You just cannot beat that experience! Truly recommended!
My entire family rented all 6 wagons. Very nice, clean and they have everything you need. We loved it, 5 days was not enough. Lovely family the sweetest ever. We are definitely coming back again soon.
Our family group of 13 had a wonderful week at Whispering Pines. The wagons are adorable, beds were comfortable, everything was clean, the hosts were welcoming and friendly, the location is perfect for visiting Zion, Bryce Canyon and Kanab. It’s beautiful and there were plenty of fun things for everyone to do. The hosts have a great little store on the property with snacks, some food items and souvenirs. They operate it on the honor system. They have baskets of things like condiments and spices where you can take what you need and leave your extras. Washers and Dryers are available for guest use at $5 per load and they provide laundry soap and dryer sheets. Firewood is available for $6 for 5 pieces or you can gather wood from the ground in the woods. Conditions were perfect while we were there so we were able to have a campfire every night. We rented all six wagons for our group and each wagon has a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The only negative we have is that it was a little challenging trying to remember which wagon we put what food items in when we were preparing our group meals - so it would be much more convenient if there was a full-size refrigerator and pantry cabinet in the pavilion, particularly for large groups. And even though it was challenging, it would not stop us from staying at Whispering Pines again or recommending it to others. We had a great time and we would highly recommend Whispering Pines for anyone visiting the area.
