I love staying here. The house is cozy and adorable. The views surrounding the property are beautiful. Dina makes sure you have everything you need and everything is clean and well maintained.
Beautiful farmhouse with pasture views
Dina’s property was a little difficult to find. The apartment is past the main home. It is located on a beautiful and peaceful farm. I highly recommend this apartment and I will be back again.
My husband and I booked Dina’s cottage for my husband’s birthday weekend. We had a great and relaxing time celebrating. The cottage was very cozy, spacious, and beautifully decorated. Dina has a great sense of style. It’s also very close to Harper’s Ferry so we definitely went out to explore. The cottage is on a farm land and you can see cows and hear roosters when you are outside. We were pleased to see a beautifully decorated Christmas tree in the cottage which made our stay even more magical. Dana is very responsive. We had an issue with the coffeemaker and her husband was at the cottage in 10 mins to fix it. Dana also makes fantastic cakes for a small fee. She baked a thematic cake for my hubby and I surprised him with it on the morning of his birthday. You can tell that Dana puts a lot of love and care into her cottage. Will definitely be returning in the summer to enjoy the porch and sun room.
We enjoyed a 3 week stay at Dinas property, for business and over the Christmas/New Year period. Dina communicated well with us before arrival and she and husband, Kevin respected our privacy during our stay whilst letting us know they were available if we needed anything. The property is full of high quality furniture and soft furnishings and Dina really went to town with so many Christmas decorations! 🎄 She even made us some festive cookies 🍪 The kitchen is very well equipped, the large bathroom squeaky clean, living room comfy. Unfortunately, we could not make use of the screened porch in December due to cold weather but it is large & beautiful. The bedrooms enjoyed super soft bed linen & lots of throws, blankets but sadly the main bed was uncomfortable for 2. Whilst the property is very peaceful, surrounded by farmland, there is train noise day & night.

自我介绍
My husband and I are both fully vaccinated. Hi, I’m Dina, the owner of Fairview Farm. Originally from Canton Connecticut, I moved with my husband to Shenandoah Junction 10 years ago to establish a healthier life style thru organic farming. We reside in a historic, 300+ year old home that is a constant project of love. I am also an antique dealer who restores or chalk paints vintage and antique furniture and accessories like the antique mirror you will find in the powder room of the cottage. My grandfather was an Italian craftsman and furniture maker. I am thankful for the skill he passed on to me. I learned how to cook from both my Italian grandmother and my father. Their love of food and everything I learned from them has helped tremendously in creating and maintaining a vegan diet. I’m a big animal lover and we always have rescues at the farm. Otherwise you can find me digging in the dirt, tending to the organic veggies or several flower beds around the property. In the winter, I prefer to hibernate in front of the fireplace with a stack of books, when not cooking. Occasionally we are able to find someone to care for the animals and farm and jump in the car or on a plane. Our last trip was a fifteen day cruise thru Asia. I believe travel is an important part of having empathy and compassion for others and it’s the best way to learn about other cultures, geography, different cuisines and people.
